A Painting Without a Name | Night Sky, Sea and Flowers
The Milky Way and the light of the moon
fall gently over a quiet sea at night.
On the water, a trembling reflection of the moon.
At the edge of the shore, soft flowers in bloom.
At the end of a busy day,
when we look up at the sky,
feelings we cannot put into words
sometimes begin to loosen, little by little.
I wanted to capture the stillness of such a night
within deep blues and shimmering light.
Created with watercolor for the night sky and the sea,
and layered with oil pastels for the moon and the flowers,
I focused on the light and gentle warmth
that can still be found within the night.
I hope that when you look at this painting,
you feel a small sense of ease:
"You did well today."
And I wonder—
what kind of story do you imagine beneath this night sky?
